For your safety: the Freeride Competency Center run by the Gastein Lift Company, with a brand-new off-piste information system. There, all freeriders receive the latest information, safety tips about freeride routes, and the alpine conditions. Free of charge, learn how to handle your avalanche transponders in a realistic setting. At any time, no advance registration required. The high-tech facility is computerized and user-friendly with touch-screen interface. On the training grounds, you can search for hidden transponders that are easier or harder to locate. But you have to do so within the prescribed time limit. Your training results will be automatically analyzed immediately.
